Sanjeev Arora to join the ETH-ITS as Senior Fellow soon
We are pleased to inform you about the upcoming arrival of Prof. Sanjeev Arora in late August 2022. The new Senior Fellow will stay in Zurich for two months.
Sanjeev Arora is the Fitzmorris Professor of Computer Science at Princeton University. He is well-known for his work on probabilistically checkable proofs and has more recently proven foundational theoretical results in the area of machine learning. He has won many prizes for his work (the Goedel Prize in 2001 and 2010, the Fulkerson Prize in 2012). He is a member of the US National Academy of Sciences.
